ABOUT:
Zachary began his audio journey back in 2016 when his love for music brought him to get his first DAW, FL Studio. It was then he began producing electronic music inspired by artists such as , Deadmau5, and Kygo. As his passion grew, so did his ambition. After his freshman year at Boston University in 2018, he decided to transfer schools to American University to pursue a degree in Audio Production to take his audio skills to the next level. Here not only did he grow as a music producer, but also as an audio engineer, sound designer, foley artist, and DJ. He became proficient in other DAW's including ProTools and Ableton and worked at Kreeger Recording Studios for 3 years, assisting other musicians and engineers record, mix, master, and troubleshoot. After graduating and receiving his Bachelor's Degree in 2022, Zachary continues to passionately produce music and freelance as a mixing engineer, sound designer, and DJ. He also has high hopes of becoming a teacher so he can give back to the community that he loves and help others reach their goals. Get in contact with him today.
Music Production:
Zach's music alias is Marzelo. Being from New York, he was inspired by seeing his favorite artists live at a young age. He has always had an ear for the details that often go unnoticed, and this can be heard in his records. His music has evolved over the years and he has found his main sound to be in the Melodic Techno and House genres. His music can be found on playlists alongside artists such as Franky Wah, Camelphat, Charlotte de Witte, and Carl Cox.
Mixing:
In addition to mixing his music, Zach has had several clients whose music he has also mixed. Genres range from Pop to Indie to R&B.
Audio Editing & Sound Design Work:
Zachary's audio skills extend past producing and mixing. He also loves to work on films, tv shows, blogs, and podcasts doing things like sound design, foley, music scoring, and overall audio editing.
DJing
Zach began DJing while in college as a fun hubby. He quickly began getting gigs at nightclubs, weddings, and other events including the NY Marathon. While his trademark sound at clubs is Melodic House and Techno, he is well-versed in multiple genres and knows the right music to play in any given scenario.
